door won't open.

what's up guys. i have a 90 accord ex automatic.
today when i closed the door everything worked fine. but wheni tryed to open it again the door won't open. the power locks and the key work fine but the door won't open.

do u guys know a way on how to open the door and how to fix the lock???

hahah same thing happend to me. did you hear/felt somthing snap when you opened yours? i would just open my door from the inside like normal, then all of sudden, i felt something snap and i cant open my door anymore. now, i have to roll down the window and open it from the outside when i want to get out. i've taken apart the whole panel and cant find out whats wrong with it. i wish i had more effort to fix it

try pulling the door handle harder my rear door takes a little effort on the handle...

i tryed pulling it. i kick it from the inside. and i tryed a crow bar.

it won't fucking open.

door latch is broken inside the door. You'll have to remove the interior door panel and then cut off the latch. No other way around this problem. The latch has nylon internals and is prone to breakage over time. Word of warning don't get another latch from a junkyard because it might fail too. This is one time it would be wise to get a latch/lock from the dealership.

If the door that wont open is the drivers door.... I'd suggest buying a new latch off ebay, and follow these procedures.... the original website is down, and i have this and a few other documents from them on my personal web server....

well took the car to the mechanic. and for about 3 hours we tryed to brake the internal. so basicly i need another door.

yez or search the forum for a lotta parts cars i have the same probelm and a latch from honda is 300 so w/e thats my $.02

Same thing happened to me, both front doors only open on the outside and I have to replace 2 interior door handles.

does that mean i need to by 2x Latch actuators?
