get wires and plugs....if you maintain your vehicle often...I'd get V-power plugs (copper)...if you're lazy....get the Platinums or Iridiums (if you want to pay that much)...they last longer than copper plugs

I've been running cheapo Autolite plugs in my car since May and I've felt no difference between them and the NGKs. The car seems to run just fine with the Autolites.Former: 90 Accord EX Coupe, 93 10th Anniversary in Frost White
1985 Volvo 245 manual [IPD lowering springs, IPD sway bars, OEM Virgo wheels, 1977 quad round headlights, 1978 grill]
2001 Mazda B3000 SE 4x4 extended cab [stock except for CB radio]
2008 Ford Escape XLT [bone stock]
2015 Toyota Prius Three with solar roof [rear diffuser, Vision Cross wheels... cheaper than steelies!]

NGK=OEM
IMO if you're running serious power then upgrade the ignition system, if not just leave the OEM quality parts there.
NGK iridiums and NGK wires from www.importrp.com a set for 30 bucks shipped .
Is what I use.No more cb7, 7 years of ownership and 196K on the ticker before she was sold

i mean, i honestly think its one of those little things and self-assuring types of thing.
i did notice a bit of a better start up w/ the blue ngk wires. versus stock ones. but a lot of things are psychological...
aem or ebay type
ngk or autolite..
remember there's people who don't do these things just the normal things and their cars are still going well over 100 plus k and what have you..
point is, take everything w/ a grain of salt and go by experience, feel, and what not.
were talking 11-14 year old cars here, wouldn't hurt to replace something w/ age, but lets say if u got a brand new and decided to go that route, well you get the point.
ngk wire, and ngk plugs !!hahahahah
