My cars been having ALOT of problems lately

First off when i drive down the road the engine feels like its shaking as if loosing a cyclinder when i slowly accelerate and it kinda makes slight popping noises out of the muffler and it just kinda feels like its not running right, but when i accelerate hard it goes away so?. then about a week ago i was driving and all of a sudden i hit about 25 and the gas pedal stopped working it was like just revving the engine and like the transmission wouldnt shift then i drove it home and found out that my cold air intake had totally fallen off i put it back on and it fixed the problem only for a litle bit because suddenly again when driving it would shift really late like at 6 on normal acceleration so i parked it and later went to take it to the shop and it wouldnt come out of park so i stuck the key in the thing put it in nuetral the started it and drove thier. The mechanic said some blabbing about bad transmission codes and rev limiters and said it would cost 2100 for them to put in a new transmission or about 500 if we found our own transmission. so i drove it home to think about it and it worked fine except for the sputtering on slow acceleration and its been working fine for a week just sometimes it hangs before it shifts when driving normally but not very often. So guys whats goin on?

reset the ecu and check to see if your transmission oil is at the level its supposed to be. And whens the last time you tuned up your car like,sparkplugs,rotor an cap,what kinda gas you use too?

its got new plugs cables distributor cap and transmission fluid is good

when your driving down the road right does it shake when your from at a stop or when just driving check your mounts too whats the condition on them?

just when im accelrating it feels as if though i lose like 40 horsepower and then when i accelarate hard its fine and fast. and it has new engine mounts. how do i reset the ecu

damn see what cels the ecu is runnin you can read them well right? do that before you reset the ecu . To reset the ecu pull the negative side of the battery off first then take out the 10amp fuse from under the hood thats highlighted in the spot for the ecu . Get the codes first before you pull those out though.

dammit. no i dont know how to read them
i went to drive it today and the D4 light is blinking and you have to floor and it makes a really muffled sound and stops at about 2 3 grand and slowly slowly accelerates to about 20mph. what the heck is going on is my tranny gone?
