prolly needs a valve adjustment. Here's a lil something I learned sunday when I adjusted my valves for the third time. You tighten down the adjuster to the proper clearence. when you pull the feeler gauge out it should take quite a bit more than a "slight drag" to pull it out. You'll probably scratch the gauge trying to pull it out. If your intake valves are set at .10 then you should not be able to get .12 in there at all. Thats how you know you are at the proper clearence. Same with the exhaust side. You should not be able to clear .013 if your exhaust valves are set to .012. I did this and now my car is MUCH quiter.

Good tip indeed! I plan on doing a adjustment when I get around to a timing belt change. This will come in handy.
