For a stock H somewhere between 4800 - 5000 is ideal. And rev limit on a stock H is NOT 8200 its more like 7200. You probably would want to bring that down to at most 8000.

vtec engages at around 5200 rpm. you could set the controller to start it at 4700 and rev limiter at 8200.

btw can you please stop capitalizing every first letter of the words in your sentence. its hurting peoples eyes.

yea ok and i kno that i can set it to start at 4700 - 5400 but im asking which would make it kick in harder and pull more power or does it pull the same at all points just at a diffrent period

for my H (daily driven) i set my vtec to engage at 5k, and limit is set to 8k, but my shift light turns on at 6800rpms.. from my dyno charts my HP begins to drop around 6800rpms..so if i'm racing i tend to shift around there. but vtec at 5 is rather nice for my daily driving.

The lower RPM you have from 5200 the softer Vtech "kick" around 4700rpm you don't even feel the "kick" it very smooth. So if you want to feel the kick 5400 rpm and higher should give u a harder kick- but does not mean your engine is is the optimum powerband. For HP you would have to try it on a dyno, my JDM h22A make the most non-vtec power at 5300rpm(NA form-header/catback exhaust/Intake) so I have my vtec adjusted to 5000rpm. Which on the dyno graph show smooth power pick-up and increase in HP curve when I feel my vtec come on around 5200rpm on the stock tach.

idealy you shouldnt really feel the vtec crossover. set the vtec point to 4500-4700. the crossover should be where your hp/tq lines cross on the dyno with vtec disabled
