well it started raining today, and i noticed that part of my inner fender scraped off due to the fact that the filter on my cold air intake wasnt a perfect fit, i had clearance issues with it, but it fits on the pipe, well anyway part of the inner fender where the filter is is gone, now i cant get no new inner fender due to rain at a junkyard and its closed today or dealer which is way too much and i have work later, my engine wont hydrolock will it as the water splashes on the filter? or it can only do that if the filter is in water???

I personally wouldn't even drive a car with a cai in the rain. I've seen to many friends hydroloc motors that way.
JMO.
Some people do it all the time, and others get screwed.

One ls vtec hatch.
One of them had a rod that was practically bent in the shape of an L. Looked like the incredible hulk got a hold of it!Noobie my ASS.
