ok i got a 92 ex f22a6 auto and when shifting through the gears it shifts waaay hard!! do i need a new tranny ... any ideas??

I may be wrong, but from what ive seen and heard, there is no cure for this.
You can get it to not shift as hard, but you will still feel it when it shifts. Changing the fluid and/or putting Honda fluid in will help. And yes, replacing mounts should help as well.
I just changed the fluid and while it did make a difference, I can still feel it shift prett good.

the car kicks really hard!!! only when i accelerate kind of fast and let off < as soon as i let off and it shifts, it shift hard as shit.... but if im accelerating through the shift then it shifts way smoother not hard at alll.. im thinking motor mounts...92 4 Dr Ex-sold/91 civic hatch(bad head)/93 civic vx

do this:
Put your car in drive and set the Ebrake. Open the hood and have someone press the gas to put a load on the engine. If the engine rocks excessively, then its your mounts that are shot.
Do the same for Reverse and also watch the engine as you shift from Park to Reverse to Neutral to Drive. Watch the engine and see how much movement it has, there really shouldn't be that much movement.
If you hear a metal THUD sound, then the rubber mounts have no dampening left and its most likely a metal to metal contact, which could be causing your harsh shifting.
