    14b Turbo

i am going to go turbo this winter. Is the 14b turbo a good turbo to start out with?
My engine has 90.000 mile on it.

the Evo III big 16g is a much better fit for our engines. The 14b runs out of steam up top but the 16g pulls to redline.

Smaller turbos also develop heat much more quickly.
        I'd go with a 16g if I were you.

The boost won't build up quite as quickly, however. Some would call it lag, I call it better cruising mpg.

There is pretty much no lag whatsoever with a 16g. The dsm guys consider the e3 big 16g to be the best street turbo you can go with.

            I stand corrected.

The less heat part still goes, though.
