Maintenace required

when does the maintenace required green turn in to and how do they work?

It turn from green to yellow every 15k I believe and from Green to Red every 30k Also. Its just for maintenance intervals. You can stick your key in that slot next to it to reset it.

i have had this car for 2 year and it has always been green.

Turns yellow after 3750miles, turns red @ 7500. Works off of odometer, if yours is not changing, try reseting it.
