            this is true if you have a junkyard that #1 even has a head still on the block and #2 will let you part it out.

            with my local places these are hte 2 problems I always run into, and the way gas is getting the dealer might be better lol.

              really? wow, my pickNpull sells entire engines for 70 bucks now. So i could get A6's or whatever. You just need to go at the right time and EARLY in the morning. Otherwise all the mexicans will beat you to it. No offense, but thats the majority of the people that go there.

                  just go to the junkyard, take one...and put it in your pocket...

                  it'd probably cost you the entrance fee but other than that.....you're in for a cheap deal if you go that direction.

                    I don't condone theft, but these are cheap and easy to get. A dealership will have one that's new, and getting one from a boneyard may have been overtorqued/stripped/damaged in ways you cannot tell.
