    E-bay Dual Core Civic Rad.

I read somewere on her that those small ej civic radiators. The dual core aftermarket ones are about the same if not better than a stock accord one...

With that said, would an e-bay one like this do? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA...QQcmdZViewItem

Or were else could I get a well performing radiator. When I blew my motor the rod shot out the block and hit the radiator. Now that im getting an H and tucking the bay I thought it might be good to go with a small civic radiator to make things look a bit nicer...

I don't know if I could trust the quality of a 60 dollar ebay radiator. If you going to get a nice radiator don't go cheap.

I dont have much money though...My part time job doesnt pay very well..

      Minimum Wage-$5.85
      Hours Every 2 weeks-Average(45)
After taxes maybe $250 every 2 weeks

Im trying to get a full time job but until then im trying to keep things as cheap as possible. What is a good brand for a dual core half sized civic radiator? Koyo is too expensive at the moment.

Search Honda-Tech.com. They have nothing but tons of info about civic and tegs. This is what I came up with in about 2 mins

I hate honda-tech lol...but thanks, I wonder how those e-bay ones do. I know people with H swapped civic who use the stock half sized single core radiator. So if the ebay one has the same design it should work out just fine. But that is still only SHOULD...

I will search around and see what people say about them. If there as good as or even better than the stock civic ones then I might go ahead and buy one and let everyone know how it works...

you can get a mishimoto one they are in the mid 100's. I personally believe that as long as it doesn't leak and it allows everything(air, water, heat) to flow then a ebay one is fine.

Unless you are going turbo you don't need and shouldn't get a civic rad.

Please read the whole thread before posting. If you had you would see the part were I said when the rod shot out of my block it hit the radiator along with shrapenel from the block...

I need a radiator, and a cheap one but suffeciant enough to run an H22. I asked the question on Honda-tech and there were people on there that said they work great, as long as you get the right one. Some that said that had H22's themselves.

Seeing as what they said I will be getting one in a few weeks when Ipick my H up...Il let everyone know how it turns out...

I'm using one just like that off of ebay and it works perfect, no leaks I just used the ac fan as the fan and it stays right where it was when it was the fullsize rad. and bigger cooling fan. IMO I think it's worth the price.
