Some insurance questions/Aftermarket parts

Hey guys
i got into a wreck in my CB last tuesday. After the estimate came in, the insurance said $3028 to fix the car, and that it would prob get totaled. now
i have maint. records showing the total in the past 15 years hitting around $8k spent on the car, now i need to try to get the cost down for the insurance, so they can fix it, i do not want to total my precious car either !
Also im looking to get aftermarket hood/fender/radiator support/headlight/ac condenser. Now has anyone had good experience with Aftermarket OE Parts ?

i ran into that issue. what i did....the headlights itself were a few hundred dollars from the dealer. so i asked the insurance company to put it on my deductable so i can pay 100 dollar deductable to get those fixed, saving my car from getting totaled.

as long as you get the price under the value of the car then its ok. aftermarket parts are fine they look the same but they do lack some quality. i just didnt want my car salvaged.

There is a Certi-Fit in Charlotte. It is off Statesville Ave, right where 77 and 85 meet.
