just yesturday i was driving and i realized my coolant temperature needle never moved from below the cold mark. ever since i put the h22 in the needle never made it to half and it stayed close to the cold mark but now i have no readings i played with the key so see if the needle was stuck but no results any ideas?

i never had this problem it just happend. im full of coolant and if it's the sensor shouldnt a check engine light be on and also i had a connection problem before where i had to spice some wires and reconnect them for one of my coolant temperature sensors with that being said when that wire was loose my check engine light was on and i had no vtec. any other ideas?honda life 4218

Thermostat is about $15 by the way.
