Code: 7 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor. ??

This sensor located on the TB have been replaced, but still i get code 7 after resetting ecu.

Measuring voltage between D20 and D11 on ECU, il get 0.9V on closed throttle to 4.5Volt at fully open throttle, but it should be between D22 and D11, instead of D20.

Has anyone any idea of what to do?! Vtec wouldnt kick in, and its very confusing. Ive followed the 1993 Prelude manuall about Throttle Position sensor, but it didnt work..

I also get code 20. Eletrical Load Detector... ?

    Please!

Have you changed or messed with any of the factory wiring.

This cb7 is european and the engine was JDM, so we had to modify the f22a harness to fit h22.

We did however not get any checklights from other sensors etc, but we did remove the A/C from h22 engine and bought a smaller belt. Maybe this cause code 20?

The wiring-harness in the car is still stock.

It has to be at a certain tightness. The TPS sensor is also rotatable. When you loosen the TPS twist it clock and counter clockwise. There's your answer bud.

Also, your VTEC wont kick in cause you have a CEL on. Your car is in SAFEMODE as far as computer terms go. When you get it fixed ur VTEC will engage. Also, your gas will be eating up fast. Don't drive it everywhere. Your car is Super rich right now.

Im also assuming you forgot to take off the TPS when installing the motor? Mine broke off dropping the swap. Those things are fragile.

ah il see..I bought a new TPS sensor from ebay for $30.. At the local honda dealer they want to charge me for $500..

Anyway, i hope this CEL light would disappear when new sensor is mounted..

Its just to bolt it right, with the including gasket?

hope code 20 disappear to, since european cars dont have the eletrical load sensor...
