stripped threads on f22 head, repairable?

the stud on the exhaust side, closest to the water neck will no longer torque because the threads are stripped in the head. is this repairable with a heli-coil or any other thread repair methods?

    thanks

some cars have wings cuz they increase efficiency.
some cars have wings to keep them from taking flight.

should i try re-threading w/ a larger stud first, or go for the heli-coil?

Try running a bigger size tap in there and then using a different size bolt.

id helicoil it just to be safe. after that you can still run the stud.

                  anyone know?

anyways, i heli-coiled the stripped threads and it worked mint. torqued down nice and tight, didn't take much to tap either
