trans slipping/boggin???

well its only happened like 4 times but ill be going around 40 to 60 and ill go to give it gas and it will rev then like bog for just a sec then keep on going...what is this?

I think your touqe converter is going out.

Sound like what my car is doing. I need a new clutch, So that may be your issues also!

Mine does the same thing after it rains. When its clear out the problem seams to go away.

well I guess it doesn't matter too much because the question has pretty much been answered either way

if it's a standard- you're looking at clutch slippage

if it's an automatic- you're looking at a failing torque converter

Does it rev, then bog, then rev, then bog?

Mine does that too. Between 40 and 60, but mainly up near 60. Almost like it cant get passed that gear or something.

How big of a feat can a torque converter be..??
