check engine light

i have a 90 accord ex 5 speed i just bought it a month ago about a week ago my check engine light came on so i pulled the code it came up with code 31 which is far a a/t car. any suggestions thanks

Looks its an auto tranny B signal... not sure where to help ya fromt there. You might want to try searching on google for Honda CEL or Honda CEL 31 ... sure ya can find something

hey man,I serched google a bit with aero's codes.
it's said "defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor" however there is no solution though, check the manual as well see if this gonna help a bit.

i don't understand why a code for a a/t would come up my car is a 5 speed

make sure you are reading the code right. it may be 41. just a guess.
