    Haha well thanks for assuming that.

    I can hear what sounds to me like a tiny bit of valve tap. When I turn off my radio and everything, and my engine is warmed up, I can hear it like 5 times per second. So I'm suspecting that something's wrong with that.

      You probably need a valve adjustment. It can make a surprising difference in power and gas mileage. There should be a DIY on the forum for DOHC motors.

        What he said. I did a bad adjustment once and on the big cam it felt like vtec wasnt even kicking in.
