    Can we talk code 43?

Im getting code 43 lately - fuel supply system.

I recently had code 41 (o2 sensor) replaced it and it went away. However after this the car ran fine but felt a little bit held back. I then did a coolant flush and replaced the thermostat and the next day code 41/43 appeared.

Now im getting the same stumbling upon acceleration or cruising sometimes at between 2k and 2.5k partial throttle. When this happens and I WOT it goes away (different fuel maps probably) I have replaced very recently spark plugs and fuel filter/checked injectors/cleaned egr/. Just wondering what you guys did to resolve your code 43...Im lost...what else could cause this code?

What to do: Most common faulty part is the fuel pump. To check if the fuel pump works on not , turn on the ignition key and hear if the fuel pump makes a humming sound. It is better to double check for sound. If you do not hear a humming sound , replace the fuel pump. To replace the fuel pump , it requires dropping of the gas tank to the ground. Once the tank is removed , replace the fuel pump. Installation is reverse of removal.

Back seat area. You might be getting low fuel pressure.

I have had great success getting rid of code 43 by running half a bottle of Sea Foam with a full tank of gas. this is from experience.

I also got rid of the by using a oem 02 sensor. what brand did you use?

From your post its sound's to me like your car still runs?
If the fuel pump was dead the car wouldn't run as the injectors wouldn't receive any fuel. (unless it was an intermittent fault)
Get the fuel pressure checked, and If you have access to a fuel pressure gauge, Hook it up and leave it on the car. Then have a look at what its doing as soon as the code comes up

yeah I am running a new ngk o2 sensor. are they affected by vibration at all does anyone know?

The car runs fine for the most part, its just this rare stumble around 2k and sometimes loses power then.

I will try to get a cheap gauge and check for fuel pressure. I will try to diagnose and report back tomorrow. I think im gonna run a bottle of fuel system cleaner as well. After researching this seems like it could be so many things.

Hmm...just thinking out loud...i dont think its fuel pressure, seems weird how it would only be affected at low rpm, but who knows right. I think its something electronic. i remember reading about egr valve opening at 2.5k...maybe i need to clean my egr ports.

It's still usually the O2 sensor. It is a s.o.b code to diagnose, that's for sure

I've had this problem for years, ever since I started running larger injectors (550-780) it comes on after hard runs at the track or when I'm beeting on it up in the mountain roads. I just cylce the key and it goes away. Never been able to figure it out so I just stopped caring about it.

i had a feeling this was gonna be a bugger code. thanks for the replies guys most of your threads i already read about code 43. If the cel comes on again i might try another o2 sensor that seems to be the main fix.
