You are talking about kw Block seal? Thats a hit or miss and if its gonna work it will only work if your HG has a small rip and is only leaking or if the block is cracked. If the head is warped forget it.I used this stuff on my girls 93 acclaim a long time ago and it sealed it up, but its suppose be a temp fix if I remember correctly. Oh..if you use this stuff bypass the heater core, then reroute the hoses back to normal when you are done running it thru the system.Last edited by Fake Thug; 05-23-2008, 10:19 AM.

found my problem...i think....
ok upon looking at a valve adjustment thread i say some pics. Well I decided to compare and contrast. Now with my valve cover off, distributor cap off, and flywheel grommet off I made my discovery. I turned the crank counter-clockwise until I saw the single line on the flywheel between the little thing looks like this ->(note this is the single line not the one with the 15 and the two other lines) next assuming this is right I pulled my yellow spark plug out of cylinder #1 and made sure the piston was at its highest point, it is. Then I look at the distributor button and made sure it was pointing directly to the #1 plug wire, it is. Now at visual inspection the cam is off 2-3 teeth. I had a guy look at it and he said whom ever did the timing belt job did take the distributor out or something. because its not at 90^o and he said my valve timing is off. I'm supposed to get this fixed on Mon. This would explain my misfire, yellow plugs, loss of midrange power and no redline. Any feed back please respond.Mr. $3 Dollahz Himself!

So when the number 1 cylinder is TDC, the arrow on the cam gear is not pointing at 12:00? The dizzy is keyed so it only goes in the right way. I learned that from deev. Most likely the timing belt was not lined properly.Last edited by Fake Thug; 05-24-2008, 09:46 PM.

There are 2 marks on the cam gear, one on the front, and one at the rear. Those 2 marks should be level with the valve cover gasket surface on the head, NOT with the ground. Since the engine leans back 12* it is going to look a little crooked compared to the ground.
Another good way to check is to look at your distributor position. If it is clocked all the way to one side or the other, then you are off at least one tooth, because Honda puts just enough adjustment in the distributor to equal about 1 tooth on the timing belt. If the distributor is clocked all the way to one side, that is how the mechanic got the timing back in spec.
You pretty much used the correct method to verify TDC though, as all 3 conditions should be met. The line on the flywheel with the pointer, the dizzy pointing at the correct terminal, and the cam gear marks lined up with the surface of the head.
Unfortunately, it is very easy to put the belt on 1 tooth off if you aren't careful, because sometimes the way it slides on and tensions is actually 1 tooth off, and if you don't reverify everything, then you will never see it.
And yes, it could explain your symptoms.
