alright, i picked up an H23 today, and i got an engine stand yesterday...

this is gonna sound noobish as hell, but where do you mount it at on the engine stand? do you have to take the clutch off?...i need to know so i can start tearing that shit down.

    any help is needed

You mount it via the area where the trans attaches.

yea, the only thing is we had to use a bunch of thick washers because the bolt was too long, i think they were 12x1.5 or something like that, but don't quote me on it cause i could be completely wrong

When I did my H22, I took the flywheel off (my stand is very old, my dad made it in high school, and I couldn't get the bolts in around it), and used tranny bolts. The bolts were too long, but I used some big nuts (lol) I had laying around instead of washers to space it.
