Headlights in oven

has anyone did oem headlight with plastic lenses. If so how long and what temp?

make sure the plastic isnt touching any metal!

a little quicker and less labor than using a heat gun.

Ahh yes 5th gen lights....

275 for 10-12 mins is good i believe, but always monitor them and ive heard that with plastic you could put them on like moist towels to keep from melting the plastic.

Just be carefull as theyre not glass.

i just did mine with a heat gun last weekend... even in some spots the plastic didnt look so healthy with the heat gun so i'd be careful with the oven

200 for 10-12 mins and you can pry them apart with a flat screw driver. Make sure that you take the adjustment buckets, the clips, and the bulbs off also before baking the lights.

the lenses are polycarbonate and 200 degrees shouldn't do anything to them, just make sure they are oil free. I did my 2001 Focus headlights myself and it worked great.
