not sure if he'll read this since he is banned but if you go on ebay and check the guides out, with shipping it will cost around 3 dollars a pop.

installation is 80 bucks and a valve job is mandatory since you mess with the position of the valve face on the seat.
we charge 180 for a 16valve valve job.

also recommended for a surface = 50 bucks.

so looks like you are into it around 360 bucks. id just get a good head from the junkyard or a rebuilt one.

Whats your reason for wanting to replace them anyway?
They hardly ever fail, and most people that think there leaking find after replacing them that they weren't the problem.
But yea $3 sounds about right
BTW they can be replaced without taking the valves out - If you feed/hold compressed air in the cylinder the valves will stay in place

Really! I'm not planning on replacing them, but I'm going to be replacing my valve seals (head/engine is in the car) and it's also possible to change the guides as well? Didn't know that one!

I don't know about on every car but I know hondas you want them adjusted between 12k and 16k. Maybe thats why they tend to burn valve seals if driven along time without haveing them adjusted.

                    the poster never said "seals"

Now if you are doing seals then you dont have to remove the head.

low compression, after valve guide installation.

read the title gentlemen, nothing was said about seals.
