Ignore everyone's comments, but do what d112crzy says. Since you need this plugged ASAP, you're best bet is to go to the dealer and get the parts, it should be a plug and come with a washer, install it. Problem solved.

Your F22a4 motor does have an oil sender unit ABOVE the oil filter, as you already know. You say it's fine, that is good. Just install this plug and you're set. Your motor does not come with a knock sensor, that is why it should have a plug.

Oddly, I called the dealership and they had no idea what I was talking about. They asked if it was the pressure sensor, so I guess they have some idea about where I'm looking, but the dude asked me to bring it in so he could actually see what it was. I may take it out there if the garage I usually go to can't plug it, and I'll check up on that o-ring afterwards since it's such a common issue.

        Thanks yall.

If it's the o-ring for the oil cooler, then it's easily fixable and lots of members have fixed it. There are a lot of threads about that particular part, it isn't engine-specific.

O-ring for oil cooler is engine specific, it only applies if you have the F22a6 version and you have the F22a4, so this does NOT apply to you.

Go to a junkyard and get the plug and washer or off a spare F22 somewhere (yours, friend's). This is such an easy issue to take care of, longer you take the more you increase the chance of ruining your motor. Such a drastic oil leak is no good.

knock sensors are just microphones...thats all!

like its been said before...F22As DO NOT come with Knock sensors.
