If I have a chipped ecu with a 4 pin datalogging header

This is all I need to data log correct?

But if I want to make a change I need a real time chip emulator or burn a new chip... If I get a chip emulator will I be able to move my old maps to that? Or will I need to start over


If I go with a ostrich 2.0 will it have the ability to data log or will I need the get the data logging header also

An Ostrich is an real time emulator. Old version or new version, it doesn't matter. Neither have the ability to datalog.

Datlogging is accomplished by using that wire you linked and a laptop with the correct software.

Freelog is the only free datalogging software I've found to work (not very well though). But then I bought Crome Pro. $150 well spent!!!

If you're interested in buying Crome Pro, purhcase it through xenocron.com. The money goes to the same place, but he gets your reg string much quicker.

so crome pro will give me data logging and the ability to make changes with out burning new chips... Does it come with hardware ? Can I have it on more then one laptop... Because I am probably getting a new one soon.

Yes, it will give you the ability to data log.
Yes, you can do on the fly changes with it.
No, it does not come with the hardware. You will still need the Honda log and Ostrich.
Yes, they will give you up too three reg-strings to instal Crome. you have to give them your computer ID first before they will give you the reg-string though.
