think any car pretty much does that.. or else its just like when your taking a road-trip and it takes forever to get there and then you get back so quick..

I am pretty sure that cb7's came with two different size gas tanks.

              I personally have a 92 accord ex 4dr. AUTO.

I can be OUT of gas......... I MEAN, my car is dead on the side of the road because i ran out of gas, and even THEN i can only put 12.9 gallons.

It seems like a few others have said the same thing. I get 320 to a tank, and that is like 23 mpg.

Does anyone know any FACTS on our gas tanks. I think we're mission out on something.

SOMEBODY has to have proof that SOME accords have a 13 gallon tank!!!!

I have also seen 17 gallon in many books, but i am pretty sure mine isn't!!!!!!

Maybe they "upgraded" my tank to a civic one!

ive never had my light go on and when i fill up its 12-13 gallons worth so its not likely my tank is 12

next time i guess i should just try running without refueling even though the needle is in the red

                          similiar

I haven't pushed my car until the light comes on, but based on my calculations *nerdily pulls out calculator* I get about 28 mpg which is what I'm supposed to get. That's approx 350 before I'm touching E and about 13 gallons. Don't worry about the difference in what you can fill it to and its capacity. I've had that with ALL my cars. What's the big deal? Some cars have a resevoir, my uncle said some cars drain the main tank and when the light comes on it switches to the resevoir. That could be BS but anyway. What I really want to know is...When I drive slowly and old-woman like, I get a worse MPG. Ususally about 300 until E. When I drive quick *flooring about 1/2 the time* I get a better MPG 350-375 until E. Anyone else experience this?

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

My tanks 14.5 +/- .1 or so.I know this because I ran out of gas once and had to push it to the nearest gas station, filled it up all the way and it was about 14.5 gallons

How old-woman like are you driving? Shifting too early is just as bad on your gas mileage as running it hard. I would look to the circumstances that cause you to drive like an old woman, though. Are there other people in the car then? Traffic? If you are flogging it to get on the interstate and drive a steady 75 for 15 miles you really aren't making any difference in your mpg by flogging it a bit getting up to speed.

Well, its an auto so it shifts itself. Old woman-like, I mean driving gently, like a sane driver. Going with the flow of traffic instead of passing everyone. When I'm moving, I'm not flooring it but putting the throttle further than 1/2 way down. When I'm driving slowly, the throttle never goes more than 1/4 way down. There's only me in the car 80% of the time. I don't do any highway driving.
