Can't Shift Out Of Park + No Instrument Cluster...HELP!!

I posted this in "Beginner's technical...." not knowing i could post it here.
I figured mabye i'd have better luck if i posted it here as well...

i discovered that when i turn on the car and i press the brake to shift from park...there's no clicking noise when i press the brake and i cant shift.

here's what works and what doesnt work so well:

    WORKS:
~ signals (they show in cluster too)
    ~ headlights
    ~ horn
~ cigarette lighter (if that matters)
    ~ battery light in cluster

    DOESNT WORK:
~ cluster (tacho, odometer, speedo, etc)
    - no CEL/DRL/etc.
    - no lights showing what doors are open and so on
    - no engine temperature
    ~ clock
    ~ rear defogger
    ~ CAN'T SHIFT INTO GEAR

**i made a short at the clock...i think i touched the white/yellow wire and the white one or something like that (not the ground)...one of them was the wire that goes to the EG1 w/e that is =/**

I HAVE CHECKED ALL OF MY FUSES LIKE 3 TIMES AND THEY'RE NOT BLOWN

ps, i didnt know that so many things depended on the clock =/

did you check the missing ones...maybe ur missing a fuse.

as for the shift out of park...does ur brake lights work?

there is a sensor on the brake pedal kinda higher that tells the shifter to be able to shift out of park....or it can be the unit itself....u can put it in neutral and start it?

    does it even start?
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

to fix your park problem is an easy fix.

you can take your console off and on the passeneger side is a cylinder acuater thing that locks it into place. you can take the arm off with 1 10mm bolt and then you can freely drive again. but while sitting without the key the car can be knocked out of park still needing to push the button . this is not a good thing if you have children, as for me and my accord it never was an issue at all, heck i even removed my button and welded it down solid so it could move freely at any time.

I had that problem when i swapped to the p19 tcu. and this was my only fix.

but for your problem.. it sounds like it's time to get another cluster, or see if yours is all plugged in. or put some fuses in in the missing spots or, get a new tcu for the park thing.

                Clock is connected to:
                #24 7.5 amp fuse - I Believe it's labeled Radio / Backup
                Cigarette lighter:
                #10 10 amp fuse
After looking through the wiring diagrams, I believe Its possibly the #24 fuse / circuit that is causing you problems

Ok i checked ALL the fuses and took them all out and put them back in...in the right spot. and i checked to see i wasnt missing any or whatnot. i did however spot something wierd.
does somebody know where these wires go to?
