Looking for advice on my distributor

My Car either has no spark or a weak spark so I pulled the ignitor and it tested out of the resistance range. Should I replace the just the ignitor or should I replace the whole distributor?

that depends on the condition of the distributor. If it's good and tight I would just replace the ignitor. Aftermarket distributors are FUCKING GARBAGE!

        Thanks

Thanks for the quick response. The inside of the distributor looks good, the only thing off is that the the coil has some clay colored dust on it.

That clay colored dust is rust from the bearings which means that distributor is going to kick the bucket soon. Get another.

              will do

Aero where in Florida are you located? Do you deliver? Chances are i'll just pull a coil from a junk yard just to get the car started then buy yours since my bearings are on the way out.

sEnt you a PM. as you can see from the pics and description in my for sale page, one of the distributor cap screws broke off in the distributor. So the cap can only be fastened on by 2 screws.. which should be fine since it worked for this car. if you wanted to, you could drill it out, and use a zip tie.. which would be pretty easy and would work fine.

Tampa would be a bit far to deliver, especially since i would have to drive by PC which is still trashed from the hurricane. But shipping would only be like 10 bux tops for priority which should be there in 2 days at most. So lemme know if you need it.
