which mount do i need for the rear mount on the h22/cb7 swap? i just want to ask get a definite answer and go do it... is it from maybe a edm cd5 type R? this is not the tranny mount it is the one on the back of the engine.
back to do it again... no flipping of accords this time!!!

Hit me up with techy questions if i don't have an answer i can get an answer...

i always use the h22a mount bracket and the dx/lx rear mount, never had an issue doing it that way.

the mounting point on the rear of the engine is too high to put either a dx/lx mount or an h series mount. the one on it looks like a fabbed piece using the factory rear mount and a spacer to raise it up to fit the holes on the back of the engine... so unless the engine and trans are supposed to be lower in the car i guess i will have to get one made... also does anyone know if the 5th gen mounts are different? maybe it would be better for the swap. i have a factory accord as well as the swapped car and i looked and the rear mounts are definitely different. the factory car is an lx.

Stock mounts all will work. Ignore the comments where people say it cant. The only thing to do is to convert the auto vac powered mount to an lx/dx mount since I dont think there is an extra nipple on the prelude manifold for it. Plus the dx/lx mount is stiffer.

listen to nail. But whatver mount you decide to use (dx,lx,ex), make sure you use the matching rear mount bracket.

exactly dx/lx rear mount is shorter than the ex rear mount....so the proper bracket is necessary.

Also just to add to the DX/LX mount its cheaper to replace than the EX.

we used the ESP mount kit with the DX/LX rear engine mount bracket.

                          works like a charm

ps. went from auto to 5 speed and jdm h22

Check out ESP engine mount kits for your CB7!!!
