    lovin the h23 tranny swap!

well i just got my tranny swap finished with a h23 tranny, exedy clutch, and act streetlite flywheel and well man o' man im already enjoying it. still got plenty of more miles to go so i can rip loose that new clutch. i can't wait. lol. if anyone has thoughts about doing it. go for it. the only problem that my mechanic came to was the different tranny mount but he got it in perfect. ill keep you guys updated when i can finally let that clutch go. later!

thats easy, for those that know how anyways. my boys at the shop made me a tranny mount from scratch. with the at2mt conversion, i was left with a stock mount that didnt line up... so they made one.

yeah unlucky for me, i have that new tranny on a f22a6. but it is a big improvement! and the sad part of e saying this? im only short shfting and releasing the clutch very slow because i have to wear it in first.

As for the mechanic riggin the mount. i really have no clue. i only noticed that he took the accord tranny mount off and put it on the prelude one. I'm guessing he was stuck tapping a few hole to line everything up?

Anyone know anything about the F22B tranny? I have an F22A6 as well, and I needed a new tranny and I got a good deal on an F22B tranny and I read somewhere that they bolted right in. I just noticed when I'm getting ready to put it in now that the F22A mounting plate is way to small to fit the F22B tranny. There's no way to even modify the mounting plate (such as drilling different holes) to fit because it's not big enough. Anyone know if I can just get an F22B mounting plate?
