I was lookin at strokin up the h22 with the f22 crank, I know it wont clear the jets but is there anything else I have to watch for or modify for this set-up to work? also if I just plug the hole for the jets with a bolt will that take care of that or is there another/better way of doing this?

by "jets" do you mean the oil squirters,if so there are no clearence issues there. The f22 or h23 crank works just fine with them.I have a motor on the engine stand with them,h23accord has a running motor with them and i think bjaccord has them in his h23 as well.Last edited by shadetreecustom; 01-10-2008, 02:24 PM.F22A1:blew up

Yes by "jets" I mean "squirters", but when I put them in and turned the crank over it hit against them, so I proceeded to make sure they were all tightened and yet it still hit against them. Thusly I planned on removing them in order to make this motor work. Also this engine is not going to be daily driven! thanks for the link H23, answered a lot of what I was trying to find.Ohio CB7's Midwest CB7's Ohioaccords.com

The only answer I didnt get was if you do remove the the squirters and plug the hole if you have to worry about anything in particular since the lubrication on the cylinder walls will go down?Ohio CB7's Midwest CB7's Ohioaccords.com

No problems with it you plug it up,just take the bolt outta the h23 and youll have no problems since the squirts are mainly used for cooling purposes as earlier stated, and if you do takem out pm and ill buy them from you.F22A1:blew up
