i believe a ported out stock manifold that has been converted to single stage will perform just aswell if not better then the Skunk2. Eliminating the IABs would free up a lot of the flow. And u wouldn't have all those fitment issues.

yea ive tryed that ,, it s a pain in the ass,,, u remove the butterflies for the cruise control,, then u need to connect all the ports in the mannifol from 8 to four ,, which if u dont have the accessable equipment,, would be pointless,, and there were no modifications reall needed ,, just getting bigger hoses,, listen i payed 300 for my manny,, i love it,, no matter what it will be better than a ported oem manni,, for the sheer fact that the size of the plenum is larger,, as long as u can create good velocity with the right size TB, youll reap the benifits,, and even moreso with higher compression and head porting,, which a oem manifold wouldnt contest..... my 2cents

The H22 plenum is pretty big to begin with and when u make it 4 ports it gets even larger so i don't think that would be an issue. I haven't seen the inside of the skunk2 plenum so maybe BIGDOM u can get a pic of it. Also the skunk2 manifold runners seem to be longer since the plenum is so high. anyways heres what a single stage h22 manifold looks like inside
