    h22 auto

I have a h22a4 and I have a automatic in my accord now....and I wanna keep it auto. What do I need to do this swap, some people say that i need motor mounts!! I thought it can just drop right in...now people around here is saying that its work. What do I need and what do I do??...lol!...scream at me!

ESP 5-speed mount kit will take care of your mount needs when swapping from auto to 5speed, works flawlessly ...

it's been said that the prelude mount CAN b used, but there's been some lil dilemmas with it... some say they keep snapping shafts cause everything sits a bit "off", and some say it's worked just fine ...

each to his own... but i'd much rather save up and get the ESP mount kit... my 2cents

    *CRAZY EDIT!!!*

if you're staying auto, mounts are no worry whatsoever... bolts right in

my experience with auto is that the rear engine mount you have to shave it off a bit to get it to level the engine right, it bolt right in but not 100% level for the engine. my rear engine mount is oem accord mount, a hydrolic mount with vacumm port.

Just finished the swap and used all original Accord Mounts. None of the Prelude mounts for the automatic fit.

dude, it bolts right up without a hitch, it's just like dropping the factory motor back in. Mine is proof. I have some videos of the video thread with it.

Did the wiring harness plug right in or did you have to do some splicing? My trans on my 92 is goin out and I have a good MPOA in the garage.........

i thought i got the h22 tranny, but ends up it's a accord tranny.
take heed i'd recomend buying a 2500 stall converter.

then which flex plate did you use?? the h22 or the accord? I'm asking because I am doing the f20b 200ps motor with my accord trans auto. so I wanna know if the flex plate will fit onto the f20b block (which is the same as the h22). thanks. I think I am thread jacking but, oh well .

In the odd case that the flex plates are different jhonda, I have an f20b flex plate in my garage if you need it, but I am pretty sure they are the same.
