Japanese Engine Import??

Japanese Engine Import? Anyone use them or buy from them. This is an Engine importer out of Virginia and was looking for any information on them or if anyone has had any good experiences with them. This is kinda quick and sudden but looking to buy from them tomorrow morning and need some word of advice. Thanks guys.

You could try google and see if there are any online reviews written about them.

I found them on ebay first, and they have 99.5% positive rating. Then I visited there website after I googled them and they seem legit and professional. I will keep searching through google and such and see if I can find anything. Appreciate the help.

If they have a phone number, give them a call an see how they are. Theres a lot you can tell just by how they answer the phone...that's the only advice I have.

I have never used them but i have used prolinkjapan in miami.If you go to prolinkjapan.com you can see what items they have and they usually have a good amount of motors in stock.

I've used them before.

I purchased the JDM F22B engine and so far I'm happy with their product. I paid 1000 dollars for a JDM F22B with 5 speed manual transmission. Came with A/C, P/S, Exhaust manifold, belts, wiring harness (some sensors were cut), I used their harness to replace some sensor connectors that were breaking off on my stock F22A wiring harness, Intake piping, and shift cables.

From what I was told the engine has about 30-35XXX miles on it and I did contact them to discuss the motor before I bought it. I was also contacted by them after I purchased the engine but I requested that they do so before shipping.

As for the quality of the motor, that's still to be determined. I put on a 8lb. flywheel, stage 3 clutch, 450cc injectors, removed the power steering, removed the cruse control, relocated the battery to the trunk, removed all AC hardware (lines, compressor, etc). The swap is nearly complete and all I need is an Intermediate shaft (drivers side -on order) and the clutch master cylinder line to the transmission (should be in at HONDA this week).

I've started the engine. It starts, and runs. Revs like crazy! But right now it wont go past 3500 RPM and runs really REALLY rich, and rough at idle. After you turn the engine off it wont start again until you let it sit for about 30-45 min. And by that time my batteries are so dead that I think my ECU resets.

Besides the whole problems thing, the motor is great. I would definitely recommend them, but be careful in whatever you buy. Ebay is still Ebay.

i appreciate the help man, i will contact them before i purchase from them to see how professional they sound. how was your item shipped? well taken care of? is the car only revving to 3500 because of the ecu or do you think there is something physically wrong with the motor? and what ecu are you running P06? again thanks guys for the help.

just buy from tigerjapanese.com or hmotorsonline both enormous sellers and good reps i went through tiger and got about 400 dollars in savings over hmotors and the motor was here in 2 days! cant really understand them on the phone but they came through with a great motor and limited broken items on motor...black box was broken and the knock sensor was too but overall a+++
