i'm still alittle in the air with the whole K-series into CB's i think its so cool, i cant wait till i see a few cb's with K's in'em. then i'll be really happy.

Sure thats what everyone says. Easier said than done. Some sensors on the K read differently than the ones on a CB. Technology changes. This is 2008 not 90-93. If you have seen K swaps on EG's and so on you can see there is a slight difference in a few sensors that either need to be modified to work and so on.

Anyway to put a price perspective on this an EG with a decent header/Kpro,Tune/swap/mount kit and all will run around 10k if not close to it from what I have seen. But off the bat your already making over 200whp.

Thats cool that they have the mounts now! It just depends on how long they are gonna take to release them.

There are people out there who say that spending 10k for a k-series swap isn't worth it, well that is until you get to ride in/drive one. Plus the k-series has a lot more potential. I spent a little over 10k for my k20a2 da (ya i know, I didn't build it ) but atleast I am sitting behind a rhd da with a k20 that has only 21k on it! I should be getting my teg tuned during the summer time, and when I do, I'll post up the numbers.

i'm not really a fan of K-series, not hating or anything. i mean i like the fact that now you could swap them into cb's, i think there is no need for all the hype i have yet to come accross a K Swaped honda that has cought my attention.

look up "alante racing" on youtube, that car club ownz a h22 swapped eg and they race it all the time againts k swapped honda's and it wins all the time. I think it only lost once.

if you could get a totalled car to swap everything over from to a stripped cb7 it probably wouldn't be too bad. I'd just swap ALL the wiring and switches/sensors..

So whats the verdict on the K-swap in a CB7?

If anyone has pix of it, in general, post them up. I want to see if it's actually possible. K24's are kinda cheap around here, but the money comes into play for the mounts, tranny, and the wiring.

That's what I was wondering, is 2point6 going to use cdk series axles?Will that even work? Or are they making cbk series axles and are going to release them later?

wow, there's a lot of room in that engine bay. Looks good. Once I start my engine swap, that might be a bit cheaper. For now a K20 and the Hasport kit is a bit out of my reach, lol.

Can't wait to see it all done. You should deffinately just get the red valve cover, just to make it look official.
