    it's been over a month now. basically, he sent out my piston and rings to get it resized, and measured, etc. it will take a while.

    165 hp 149 ft. lb. torque sohc non vtec. then....
    184 whp and 149 ft. lb. torque f20b stock now......

        ok small update


        i gotta get my #4 cylinder honed, the area where the piston side failed is scored so im gonna hone it

                ok its time for another UPDATE

                picture update

                here is the damaged piston its got pwnd

                and has a hole in it


                i found a few wierd things in this engine both i wanna know does the h22 have the bottom of the cylinder like this?


                and does it have these baffles by the #1 and #4 cylinders? they go all the way up the side of the block


                hers the timing belt side all disassembled minus the 2 balance shafts and crank shaft

                    what baffles?? you mean the crank shaft??

                    anyhow, damn, I thought my shit was bad. yours took some pretty hard beating too. what injectors are you running?? h22 or f20b?

                        when I get a chance, I'll go take a look at mine. and that piston looked like over revving. ouch. can't wait to experience mine.

                          my rev limiter is set at 8300 plus i dunno if you ever read the thread where i saids i got 532 mile on one tank lol im thinking a really lean burn

                            lean burn at that mpg, yes. but do you see a sign of burn on side of pistons where the piston rings go?? I'll try to take a better pic of mine to compare the hottness of lean at the pistons.
