thats my goal with a G23 setup. im stilll not sure if im going to be running ITB's for that goal.

200hp can be done with the f22, worse comes worse you can always squeeze.
what 50-75 shot of Nitrous? id say 100 shot is too much!
92 LX. A6 with GUDE bullfrog Cam. M2S4 transmission..Gutted H23 intake mani. The rest you will just have to find out!

not if it is built for it...plus you can have it at different stages.

wouldn't a 50 shot be to much for a high compression motor

just remmeber, it is all in the tuning whether it is a turbo h22 or a 100 shot of spray onto a stock f22.

Bisimoto does not sell rods. Besides with a N/A motor, why get new rods? In pretty much all N/A builds the rods never break, it is the piston that melts, or a bearing gets spun.

Supposedly a guy on Accordinglydone.com bored out an F22 block to 87 or 87.5 before slapping an H22 head on it but the thread mentioned nothing about sleeving. It was a fairly low dollar build also...

This wasn't Pirate or preludelittle either...or any of the usual suspects. I know what you are thinking.

                It's worth a search.

right now as we speak on this i know where an h22 is thats bored to 89 mm thats 2 mm above stock bore...bore your f22 to 87 is you wish it has steel sleeves in it ..........an ok heres a thought for you cyogenics get stock rods and have then cryod..... if u want strong rods it doesnt get much better than that on a low budget built ....once again just my $.02....and i might even know where you can get some f22 87mm pistons from but they r dished so they r forced induction pistons not sure of the comp. ratio........... just a thought

How do you know this? No one has really ever done an NA build yet. Mild bolt-ons don't count.

Plus, f22 rods go even while stock.

If you're going NA, it's always beneficial to have lighter, stronger rods.

to the OP, get custom pistons with forged rods.

If you go with anything over a 9.5:1 compression ratio, I'd start thinking of using a much better cam.

the compression puts a lot of stress on the rod bolts, so while getting aftermarket rods are for lightening the rotating mass and the such...you also strengthen the essentials that keep it together so you dont throw a rod out of the block.

                          remmeber for a block guard...

                          1. clean block
                          2. insert block guard
                          3. weld guard in
                          4. deck block
                          5. enlarge coling holes or match to HG
                          6. bore/hone cylinders to size
