          Did you mill your head?

There was no way the gsr belt was going to fit onto 91Accord-LX's f22b.

The h23 wasn't incredibly loose. The tensioner made up for it.

                  gsr is vtec....

Have you tried an h23 belt? it WILL be loose, but the tensioner will take up the looseness.

                      Wow.

the GSR belt was small for mine too.(2-3 teeth too small) So we put the H23 on and it was a little big (by about 1-2 teeth) but the tensioner took that out.

Everything is routed correctly and lined up?

I wonder if it's the tensioner maybe?

no the gsr belt was to small and the h23 was to big so im going with the 95-98' gsr belt but the width issue and rubbing is making me want to just get the h23 water pump they say that works since i already have the h23 belt and water pump is cheaper then the 95-98' gsr belt which at autozone is $44 i dont know what to do right now need to pick a side btw how long does it take to change out the water pump? and it fits right in right no mods needed?

I replaced mine with the F22A water pump. We held the two next to each other and they were identical. (F22B and F22A water pumps)

The F22A fit like a glove on mine. It wasn't too hard it took us like 30min. (but that was with 2 people)

F22B DOHC is pretty much a H23 head on a F22A block. I don't know if the H23 pump would work. But I have never heard of anyone trying either.

I THINK the h23 pump will bolt up, but the gear is different than the f22a's.

Do you remember how many teeth the f22b pump had?

I'm almost done replacing Junior's water pump, with my old F22B one.

I noticed that it had 19 teeth, compared to the f22a that had 20 teeth.

                              Everything else is identical tho.

Not off the top of my head no. I just remember you and I seeing they were pretty much identical.
