Need help on a accord V6

Ok. my girlfriend got a 1995 Honda Accord DX she wants a V6 in there, it comes with a F22 like all you guys know. and i tryed to look up everything my self but thay all did'ent give me the advise i needed. I really want it to be at Nopi next year with my car. but her current motor has it's problems. Power steering pump is going out, the head gasket i think i may need to replace ect. ect., Now would a J30A1 fit?, i would like to put a H22 in there like i'm trying to do with mine. and my friend he wants me to put a GSR in it he's a lil dumb.

So give me some input if ya will if you need pic's i will send what you will need. Thanks!

The 5th gen V6 models had a longer engine bay, I believe. Getting a V6 into the DX would probably be as difficult as getting one into a CB7. An H22 would be a lot easier. Same horsepower, a little less torque. MUCH easier swap!

If you're able to figure out how to get a J30A1 in there, PLEASE figure out how to do it in a CB7!

That would be cool putting it in a cb7 cause i hear about superchargers for them...i cant find one but it would be sweet. and if i can i will share pics with you guys. i want to see if i can at least even out the torque and the horsepower. i like the feel of torque thats why i'm going to be getting a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500. it would help with payments if i trade my CB7 but that would be a sin lol.

I got a guy at Jarco inc. that sells half cuts, i guess i will try to put a H22 in the 94 accord. ...the engine bay just looks so much bigger then mine...

everything is totally different for a v6 compared to a 4 cyl. the crossmember, axles, everything. h22 will be less of a headache. good luck in whatever you do.

              Hmm..what you could do...

your friend may be a little OFF...but....

if you get a B20 bottomend...slap the B18C head on it...and get some ITR cams.....MAKE SURE you get the GSR oil pump....GSR timing belt...and GSR waterpump.

YS1 tranny! converting over to a cable tranny will be some work!

I think boring out that B20 to a 2.1 and using that GSR head with a bigger intake cam will make some awesome power...and ...it will be a RARE swap for an accord!!

you dont see a smaller displacement or that fact a B series in a heavy body that often
92 LX. A6 with GUDE bullfrog Cam. M2S4 transmission..Gutted H23 intake mani. The rest you will just have to find out!

don't you think that a b16 head will be better for all motor?? that's only my opinion.

Yes and it would bump up comp a bit...POINTLESS FOR A B SERIES MOTOR SWAP. This has been mentioned oh so many times. Yea its easy to get the motor in think about it this way....Mounts, Linkages, Axles all need to be custom and all that crap. In other words if you have time go ahead and waste it if you dont find something else to do. There is a v6 swap thread. Bigger doesnt always mean better. You can put it in but keep in mind you wont make most of that money back. And again slight fabrication is needed.

If you want a V6, I would just buy one with it already in there.

I would rather buy a 7th gen than to swap a 6th gen.

                      1 1966 F-100
                      1 2500 Ram

Just swap a complete engine in, Dont go through the work of tearing down and rebuilding that engine. Swap a complete STOCK engine in and call it a day. She and you will be happier that its more reliable and easier.
