swappinng ex 93 auto tranny in 91 dx with sport shift

i need some info about swap between 93 ex auto into a 91 dx with sport shift if anyone has any good info about cause ive taken my wagon motor and trans and put in dx with sport shift and im having shft problems and slipping ive put the ex ecu, and trans ecu in and the s lite stays on only when its in d4 and is slipping now and the trans was rebuilt so i know its good thanks

TCU isnt the same as I recall. The 92-93 obviously dont have it but the 90-91 do.

I am thoroughly confused... Did you put a 91 motor and trans into a 93 wagon? Or a 93 motor and trans into a 91 wagon? If the sport shift wiring is correct the 90-91 TCU (with the 90-91 ECU? not sure...) should make the sport shift function work properly.

In all honesty, the sport shift does absolutely nothing, which is why it was discontinued for the later models. There's no reason to stay in gear longer at part throttle... if you want to stay in gear longer, just mash the pedal!
