I swapped a 96 accord vtec into my 90 accord. I have everything hooked up and running properly, but when I am running at about 45 mph i have a pinging noise coming from my engine, I was told that the sound was my piston was firing before it came up? I dont know what the noise is, can anyone help me? Any suggestions what it might be? Thanks

I think your runing lean turn it off dont drive it anywhere and do a compression and leakdown test on it. I hope you didnt get ripped off for that engine where did you get it from by the way? -
i got it from someone in Minnesota, i was in a civic its a rebult engine...what do you mean by leakdown? thanksComment
