    Start-up problem

well i just finished my accord (91 lx with a 94 usdm h22 with an accord harness on it), i went to start it and nothing, no spark, injectors didnt fire. First i replaced the msd 6al i had, i had, than it started throwing codes for the dizzy(crank position sensor). I replaced the dizzy and im still coming up with a bad ignition control ( code 15 ). is there anything that could cause the it to show bad. i have power in the black yellow wire, but nothing at the white blue wire. i was thinking about just getting another dizzy seeing i have a lifetime warranty. any ideas? thanks ahead of time guys

one problem i sold the old dizzy off the accord last year when i started realy getting into the swap, and the dizzy off the h was used as a core, i guess ill just return the dizzy and get a new one, it kinda helps when i work where i got it from. thanks again

well the new dizzy didnt work, still throwing the 15 code for ignition signal, it has a new cam sensor and ignition control in it, im going to start going through the wiring but if anyone has any ideas leave a post. again my setup is h22a1 wired with a f22 harness, new dizzy, new msd 6al with a new blaster 2 coil, the msd is spliced into the white blue wire and the black yellow, the black yellow shows power and the white blue does not. thanks again for any help

probably wiring, usually is in these instances.

take a break and don't fuck with it, eat a sammich and play some mario kart, then later you'll probably see what you've overlooked 5 times already.

I think you have a 91 cb7 correct the dizzy that your using it should be internal. so where are you getting your new dizzy at autozone....? if it is a external dizzy do the external dizzy conversion listed in the DIY. since 90-91 I believe are internal and any other DIzzy you get usdm is external unless you get a internal JDM dizzy from the DIZZY KING lol

ive already done the internal to external thing, basicly im running a 6al, blaster ss coil, and the prelude dizzy, the problem is im not getting an ignition signal through the white blue wire, i shouldnt need an internal coil dizzy because im not using a stock coil right?

so far its looking like i should be running the msd off of the yellow green wire, not the white blue wire, anybody have any comments, my dizzy harness is starting to look like a soldering nightmare god bless wire loom

my sugestion would be. hook everything up stock, and get it working before you put your blaster coil and ect on..
what about your ecu is your vtec hooked up and if so did you add wires to the harness or try to splice into other ones? because if you tried to plice into other ones you were looking at the diagram backwards.. also the car will start and run without the vtec.
what year model motor did you put in your car? also what year dizzy are you replacing?

seeing i have an accord harness on the h22, i would hook the coil up the same way as the msd box, and the dizzy was for the motor

as for the vtec i ran a new harness and i just dont have the wires connected, im know that is fine

have you tried starting with an internal coil distributor?

id try that first and if that works, then put the msd and external coil conversion on.
