    my first h22 swap.

well started last week. thursday night. Took the motor out no problem then called it a night.

Friday night put the tranny/clutch/flywheel on the h22..

I took the motor out thru the bottom because i'm doing new drive shafts aswell. and its just easier.

and i didn't touch the motor all weekend and last night tuesday. put the motor back in all the mounts were on.

but the shift linkage was on the wrong side of the rear mount.. soo we pushed it thru the right side just by removeing the rear mount. and then as my friend was makeing sure all the mounts were tight stricked one of the tranny bolt. holes and cracked my trannt case.. i hope everything will be alright..

As of right now. i have a few broken sensors... and the motor in the car.. now to attach everything. hope i can have the car on the road for the weekend.

PS. i hate shift linkage. and abs.

HOw bad is the crack? Since its housing it shouldnt be bad since all it covers is the clutch disk. If you have broken sensors the ones off the f22a are mostly interchangeable.

The tps on my h22 was also broken when i bought it. I just used the one off the f22.

There's a DIY on here that explains how you can use a hacksaw blade to cut a slot on to the rivet-looking bolts on the studs holding the f22 tps and then remove them with a flat head screwdriver.

                        yeah, here it is. (link)

He used a bolt extractor which works, obviously, but, like I said, you can also just cut a slot on the exposed nut and then use a flat head screwdriver. I can take pics if you've got questions. The f22 tps has been working fine for my h.
