    H22A + upgraded intake mani

Does upgrading the intake manifold on a H22A increase horsepower? or how bout if you upgrade the mani and headers? and does anyone know any body who has tried anything with ITBS? (individual throttle bodies) - i saw some guy who had them on his prelude with a pair of randy's finest headers, it was a sight to see.

^^^ You will get some added power.... Its really on the H22 that you got.... If its insides are in good working order.... The more effective your add on parts will be.... ITBs are some high dollors mods.... My guess not really for a first time learner.... Not saying that you don't need them, but if you got the money have fun with it.... As far as what you will gain, get to a dyno and give your ride a run.... Then put your parts on and tune.... That way you will see where all your money went.....

thanks for the heads up fellas, Personally i wasnt going to do anything with ITB's, i'd probably just upgrade with the Skunk intake mani and leave that at that. As for the rest of the upgrades...i'd play it by ear after i get the engine. thanks again though.

when you upgrade to skunk2 or euro-R mani its better to have the intake side of the head port matched. thats one thing that adds horsepower to the euro-R with the mani.

i wouldnt go with the skunk2 manifold for stockish NA

I'd concentrate on the exhaust side and if you must get an intake mani, i'd go for the euro R
