Transform a '93 5 SPD. LX to an EX.

If I went out and purchased a 1993 5 SPEED LX blk. w/ tan interior, what parts would I have to put on to make it an EX or SE? You know suspension, ecu, etc., what parts? Please a complete list would greatly help. Thanks.

Motor: F22A6. Alternatively, you could swap in an A6 IM, cam and exhaust manifold (the A4 tubular header design is best). PT6 ecu.

Wheels: 15" alloys

Brakes: convert to rear disc. ABS.

Suspension: rear sway bar.

Interior: Leather (standard SE only, optional in others). LX and EX interiors are pretty much the same.

Appearance: front lip spoiler

take the LX emblem off the rear and replace with EX. Done.

Finding anything with no rust in our area is tough... It's easier to find a black 5 speed 4 door than a coupe, so at least you have that working for you!

Find a nice 93 EX 5 spd and paint it black... That way you have the luxury of the EX in the color you want.

Good ideas. Only problem is I see many 5 spd. blk coupes, and not the sedans. Ans to paint a car a different color takes like 3-5 grand. Ouch.

Good point. I got lucky and found a sedan 5 speed w/ low miles, cali car, EX model.

I dont think the LX's came in that Granada black color as the EX.Also i dont see what is the big deal its still a 14 year old car (no offense to anybody)

LOL, Naw I just want one to fix up and keep as a daily driver. Even when I am a top level exc., I wanna have onoe just sittin'. To show the youth where I came from. LOL. ( I want it to be nice of course )
