    my journey to DOHC!

    ok, it's DEFINITELY that time ....

    so i been a lil on the sneeky side trying to keep on the low, but i'll let ya'll in

    i finally gathered up all the parts and took care of all the work(LOTS of it)!

    Parts list:
    JDM DOHC F22B = received
    " " " injectors = received
    3-angle valve job(3 on head and 2 on valves ) = done
    Bisimoto IM spacer/insulator = received
    head resurfacing = done
    polished ports = done
    bottom milled 20 1/2 thousandths(thnx to every1 for the help! ) = done
    New viton valve guide seals = received
    Skunk2 6bolt adj. cam gears = received
    ALL new gaskets and seals = all taken care of
    ARP head studs = waiting for shipment
    new cap, rotor, and seal for distributor = received
    chipped/socketed p06(plan on tuning w/ Uberdata) = received

    here's some pix for ya'll to enjoy (56K DIE!!!!!!!!!!)





    this was my attempt to get that angle to show but not too noticable

    i'll post some more pix of the rest of the parts when i get a chance and keep ya'll updated

    HOPEFULLY i'll be down for doing the swap next week wish me luck!

        Nice!! Are you doing the hybrid swap or do you have the complete f22B motor? Who did the work, it looks like they did a good job. Is this for an all motor setup?

          yea, i'm doing a hybrid swap and for the headwork i hit up my people at Godwin Singer machine shop they REALLY hooked me up! they took care of the head work while they TOUGHT me how to do the valves(yes, i DID the vavles ) and since i stuck around and helped out and stuff, they charged me $40!!!!

                          ... you got me, you do the port and polishing for increasing the flow through the ports and the angle valve job to keep it smooth all the way through the valve into the combustion chamber

                              grind the ports down for more airflow.

                              3 angle valve job is grinding the valves in 3 angles. It all helps increase flow velocity.

                              There are 2 angle valve jobs, 5 angle and so on. There are also radius jobs.
