that's the thing, i used the DOHCF22B map i got from dat bin site, one question, does it matter the way the chip is inserted? and also, are you saying that i wasted my $ on getting that ECU chipped when what i need is an auto ECU?
Yes, it does matter which way the chip is inserted. there should be an arrow or a little half moon on it, make it point towards the plug side.
I wouldn't give up just yet. You just need to find someone selling an automatic chipped p06 and ask to trade straight up.
OR, you could sell it, and buy an auto p06 and chip that one.
i need the car ASAP though, is there really no way to make this ECU work?

But go ahead and find the correct ones. Then figure out where they go.
accord/prelude boards arent the same as civics. So, while you can use the parts, you won't be able to put them in the same area. It's different for every type of board since some have things that some don't.

i can get an auto p28 right now for $20 obo so i might as well get a hold of that, can i take the stuff from the p06 and resolder it on the p28?...
