Make sure you set it to be 0.45 volts when the TB butterfly is closed. Then, after the TPS is screwed down snug and everything set, slowly open the butterfly while looking at your voltage readings and make sure it keeps increasing in smooth manner and there are no hiccups, otherwise you have a bad TPS.

ok, its too late to swap TB's cus i took the old TPS off the old TB, so its not set anymore. I tried setting the TPS to 0.45V but only got to 0.5V cus the thing won't thread if i turn any further. Now the CEl is off.......BUT the idle jumps If it makes a difference, my manifold is set to have the secondary butterflies open at all times. Yes i was checking the voltage with the TB closed. Any idea why i have a bad idle now?

and now i feel dumb....after plugging the vacuum line that goes to the brake booster, she purs at 800 rpm, PERFECT. In other words, set the TPS to .45V and fix my dam brake booster

awsome! my first time swapping the TPS i didn't line up the little pin to the throttle plate groove so it always read 0 volts thus throwing a CEL. that was gonna be my recommendation to you but i see everything is all right.

Lol, I remember when I swapped the engine in my old accord, and I couldn't work out why it wouldnt idle . . . Then I realised I diddn't have the brake booster Vac line connected haha
