    ecu question???

    I swapped a 96 honda accord ex vtec engine into my 90 accord, and i am using my same wiring harness and ecu from my 90 accord...but i have a knocking noise coming from my engine..i know its the knocking sensor...but i was wondering is there a way to hook the knocking sensor up without having to get a 96 ecu? Let me know if anyone can help....????thanks

    im 99 percent sure those dont have knock sensors.. i believe only the DOHCs do..

    second off you should be throwing a KS code..
    third off, your vtec doesnt work...
    fourth off, sounds like something is fucked in the engine...

    fifth off- you cant hook up a knock sensor to an ecu that doesnt have a knock board on it..

      Ok well what is a p13 and p14 and p28? How do you know what your ecu is? How can you figure out if your vtec isnt working? i mean what can you do to fix it?

        i dont know all of them but...

        p13=h22 ecu
        p14=h23 ecu
        p39=Jdm F22b ecu
        Pt3-pt6=f22a1/a4/a6
        p0a=f22b1 vtec ecu....

        which you need.. but also is your motor obd2? im kidna thinking it is..

                    yup there is alot of shit you have to swap.. not only the wiring needs to swapped form obd1 to obd2....

                    and your distributor and injectors.. also need to be changed.
