The H22 and F20B heads make their power up high, using a high compression block. Put those heads on a low-compression F22 block, with internals that shouldn't rev past 6500 or so, and you won't have anything worthwhile. Save up for a full motor and do it right, or don't bother. If you want power NOW for about $500, get a nitrous kit.
My H23Vtec needed no modification other than the removal of an oil control orifice plug on the block. The F20C is an F series in name only. It shares nothing in common with the Accord motors, as far as I know. You can use the oil filter, that's about it! If I'm wrong, someone please correct me...
A headswap is just about as reliable and expensive as a DSM turbo setup... the DSM turbo setup will make more power, though. It'd probably be wiser to go that route. Either way, the motor WILL quit on you eventually. A full swap is the only way to retain stock reliability.

its not a point of internals that want handle the revs for the h23 and the f22 share the same crank and stroke after many powwows in wagaludes shop we came to to an agreement..........NOT ENOUGH OIL PRESSURE.........in my personal um should i say adventures ive only spun bearings and thats all h23accord has done so dont count out the frank motors its just a matter of time before we decide prove to everyone that it can be as good of a motor as the ls/vtec not everyone can dump a 1000.00 into a block to get it sleeved and then another 800.00 to a 1000.00 in pistons and rods (unless someone pulles out in front of you and you crunch the front of your car up pretty good dont laugh Adam) the oil returns have to be plugged on the drivers side of the head and a hardwater pipe has to be fabed up ..its not as hard as everyone makes it out to be but its no cake walk either research and decied if you wanna take the chanceF22A1:blew up

The frankenstein motors are cool to play with, but they aren't the best idea for your only daily driver. It'd be great to have an H22/H23 turbo frank as a project car...

Upgrade your bearings and supply more oil to the block and it shouldn't break. We try to put the beat down on our Franks to find out the problems so you don't have to. Shadetree likes to rev to the moon and will make the neccessary arrangements to make sure he can do so with his Frank. If you want an easy direct swap with no fabbing or real modding though, H23 block with H22 head is way to go.
